Ash Grunwald from Australia has joined us on two occasions with his eclectic mix of junkyard soul, stomp box, 70's grooves and lap steel guitar. We first met up with him at the Gold Coast Ocean fest several years ago, when we were a guest of Rob Sawyer and his manager Gerald. We sat back stage and drank Corona most of the day, and met Ash, we then hooked up at Mr Kyps which was an awesome gig, got Ash down in 2009 and then again 2011, We caught up with Ash on the Gold Coast at the Quik Pro 2011 as well and gave him a bit of a suprise to see us.. Ash recently got his track 'Walking' on the Limitless Sound track - staring Robert De Niro! Recently been smashin it in Oz and playing with Jack Johnson. |
